18.086 -- Computational Science and Engineering II
Course Description: Scientific computing: Fast solvers for finite difference equations, finite elements, spectral method, and multigrid. Initial-value problems: stable methods for the wave equation and heat equation and Maxwell's equations, conservation laws and shocks, dissipation and dispersion. Optimization: network flows, KKT conditions. Includes computational projects.
